Ceramic Coatings

Ceramic coatings are liquid polymer coatings applied to a vehicle’s exterior to create a durable, hydrophobic (water-repelling) protective layer. They bond chemically with the paint, offering long-term protection against dirt, UV rays, oxidation, and minor scratches. Unlike wax, which wears off quickly, ceramic coatings last for many years, making maintenance easier and keeping the car looking glossy and clean.

The Process and Choosing a Coating

The process starts with a thorough wash and decontamination of the vehicle's surface.

With Paint Correction: If your car's paint has imperfections like swirl marks or scratches, paint correction can be performed first. This step removes these flaws, restoring a smooth, glossy finish before the ceramic coating is applied, ensuring maximum bonding and protection.

You can choose between a 2-year, 3-year, or 5-year coating. The 2-year option offers basic protection, while the 3-year provides a longer-lasting shield with enhanced durability. The 5-year coating delivers the most robust protection, with extended longevity, making it ideal for those seeking long-term maintenance with fewer reapplications.

Ceramic Coating With No Paint Correction

$350-$450

2-Year Coating ($350)

3-Year Coating ($400)

5-year Coating ($450)

This is when no paint correction is done before applying the ceramic coating. It skips the polishing and defect removal steps, so the coating is applied directly over the existing paint, which may still have imperfections or swirl marks visible. Price Is Dependent on the size of the vehicle.

Ceramic Coating With
1-Step Paint Correction

$600-$800

2-Year Coating ($600-$700)

3-Year Coating ($700-$750)

5-year Coating ($750-$800)

This process involves light paint correction (like removing minor imperfections) followed by applying a ceramic coating. It’s ideal for cars with relatively okay paint conditions.

Ceramic Coating With 2-Step Correction

$900-$1,200

2-Year Coating ($900-$1100)

3-Year Coating ($975-$1150)

5-year Coating ($1050-$1200)

A two-step ceramic coating process includes 2-steps to erase deeper imperfections, followed by a fine polish for a smooth finish. After prepping the paint, a ceramic coating is applied, offering long-lasting protection and enhanced gloss, while leaving barely any imperfections.
